Looking Well Activity Space

The Looking Well has an automatic door and is wheelchair accessible. We pride ourselves on being welcoming and inclusive. If you have any special needs please ring on 015242 62672, and let us know.

A flexible space, perfect for workshops, which can be divided if required into Activity Space and Kitchen Space.

  • Total floor space of 56m2
  • Seats 35 lecture style or 14 activity style
  • Full space includes a fully equipped kitchen, complete with cooker, microwave, fridge, water boiler, and crockery.
  • Accessed via a short staircase and lift.

Library, Second Floor

Looking Well Studios is home to Bentham Community Library. This is fully accessible via our lift which is wheelchair friendly.
A small meeting space is available in the library when it is closed – contact us for further details

Workshop

The 32m2 space opens to allow easy access for loading and unloading.

Garden

Looking Well Garden is a well-used resource where the gardening group and volunteers maintain the lovely planting and grow produce to use in our cooking groups.

Local people enjoy popping in to enjoy the sun and a chat.

Marquee

A high-quality modern design providing 6m x 3m of space, complete with walling. The tent is equipped with several fixing systems enabling it to be erected and secured either on grass or hardstanding areas.

The translucent white material allows plenty of natural light inside and the tent makes a smart and attractive space suitable for many purposes.

The main component, the expanding frame, requires a large estate car, small van, or trailer for transport. Its bag measures 165cm x 55cm x 50cm.

Looking Well Studios is accessible via a push pad opening the front door and lift. It has adapted toilet facilities.
