Dementia Action Week at Pioneer Projects &
Jen Durrant has made this beautiful quilt from donated material and would like to raffle it on 15th May. All proceeds will go towards the Pioneer Projects Creative sessions for those living with a Dementia. The raffle tickets are only £1 and you can purchase them from Jen herself or
World Book Night Celebrating Mental Health and Well Being An inspiring evening beginning in Bentham Community Library where local author, Diane Allen was signing her books and gave a book reading. Meanwhile our wonderful Library volunteers were serving tea and coffee along with their amazing home – made cakes.

Pioneer Projects training days with Underley Garden School
are proving to be an inspiring, creative and therapeutic partnership full of fun, information and collaboration.
Pioneer Projects was approached by Underley Gardens in 2017 and asked to explore the possibility of developing and delivering training which focused on creative engagement

Our Creative Respite Day for those living with Dementia is currently showing an exhibition of artwork at the Continued Care shop in Settle.
We have been working with Continued Care for several years and the group has an article in the Craven Herald this week, here is the link.
We would like to welcome our new, shared, Strategic Director, Leon Fijalkowski, who has joined the team at Pioneer Projects.
