Community Support

Though delivering services across Craven, Pioneer Projects is based in the small and isolated rural market town of Bentham. As the only local Voluntary and Community Sector organisation of any size, it also provides an important local ‘Community Anchor’ role from our base on King Street, ensuring that a range of other support and services remain available. This includes the local Community Library and delivery from a range of organisations including North Yorkshire Horizons, and AMP project delivery. It also hosts a range of local community groups such as the Refugee Support Group, Book Group and the Bentham Panto Group.
